Paul Kevin Jonas II (born November 5, 1987) in Teaneck New Jersey, also known as Kevin Jonas and K2, is best referred to as the elusive Mr Charm, for his smooth charismatic appeal and guitar hero qualities. He is older than his two brothers Nick and Joe, known for being “the glue” that keeps the group together. Nick and Joe often admire and turn to Kevin to keep their lives grounded, in what could be a life of mediocrity and chaos. Kevin was miraculously discovered through his brother Nick in early 2005, when Columbia Records President listened to a record sent by him. Even though they didn’t like his voice after hearing “Please Be Mine”, they decided to sign all three brothers as a group act. That created the now known Jonas Phenomenon.

Aside from his musical magic, Kevin along with his brothers’ guest starred in an episode of Hannah Montana, which broke a whopping 10.7 million viewers worldwide. The success of the Disney hit film Camp Rock, where they play a band called “Connect Three”, came soon after. Kevin played the role of “Jason” a guitarist, not having a major role as Joe did, but still gave the movie its Jonas flavour and brotherly love through his high-quality acting and passionate performance.

Some curiously odd and interesting facts of this light hearted Jonas are that he is known for being the neat freak – “I hate not having clean clothes. If I have a shirt and I wore it, it needs to be cleaned. I’m really weird about it”; and amazingly one of his Guitars was handmade from Africa and his favourite Technology device is his IP0HONE! In the relationship department, prepare to be mesmerised, did you know Kevin really knows how to treat people, especially girls? Yes indeed, raise the “I love Kevin” posters cause he recently told a teen magazine reporter, “I think guys should still open a door for a girl every chance they get, every time... she’s like a princess no matter what.” Unfortunately, before you start squealing, Kevin is dating childhood sweetheart Danielle Deleasa.

Known for his mysterious looks and adorable puffy hair, Joseph Adam "Joe" Jonas (born August 15, 1989) in Casa Grande Arizona, shares the lead singing role in the group. Originally wanting to be on the show “All That” his singing career lifted off even quicker, after his soulful voice melted the hearts of many admiring fans. As a child, Joe was always dependent on his favourite toy- Barney, that gave him the confidence and comfort he needed, but as mature young adult this dreamer has grown into an outgoing, entertaining public icon.

Joe and his brothers filmed Camp Rock, the new Disney channel Movie, were Joe was the lead male role and lead singer “Shane Grey”, which sent his popularity to another dimension. He was all the latest teen gossip magazines were talking about, and demand in merchandise plummeted since the bands first public appearances. Joe, along with his three brothers Kevin, Nick and Frankie will also be starring in their own Disney Channel Original Series, entitled JONAS, which they have completed filming, and now is airing on Disney Channel.

Interestingly according to mum, Denise “Joe is just quiet, very sweet, but he has a mischievous side.” Joe also claims “I was always the one playing it safe, never coming out of my shell because I was afraid. I’ve since grown up- I’m outgoing, and I just like to have fun!” That is what probably makes this Jonas the most talked about, in recent times the stars relationship with Country sensation Taylor Swift as created controversy. Swift, stating on national TV that he had broken up with her in a “27 second phone call”, Joe stated that she was the one who ended the call and since tried to make amends. Although, the incident proved nothing can deter this Jonas from being loved, admired and adored by many fans around the world, after all, it is the music that lures you into the group.

The youngest Jonas, Nicholas Jerry "Nick" Jonas (born September 16, 1992) in Dallas Texas, started the band as a solo project of his. At the tender age of 11 he has starred in several Broadway musicals. Some of them include Beauty and the Beast and A Christmas Carol, thus numerous commercials. Once the recording company became aware that he had two other musically talented brothers (Kevin and Joe), they were quickly signed to Columbia Records. This Jonas is said to have the most unique voice, even been compared to a young Stevie Wonder and Donny Osmond. With engaging childlike curly locks, a passion and love for music he was destined for greatness from a young age being a talented singer, songwriter, actor and performer.

Nicholas is the founder of The Nicholas Jonas Change for The Children Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to the needs of abused, homeless, and terminally ill children. This began after seeing a homeless family on the streets of New York City. He aspired to witness children being touched through the efforts of other children, including his talented friends in the child-acting Broadway community.

Sadly in 2005, when the guys were on tour, preparing for the realise of their first CD, “It’s About Time” Nick showed a sudden change in personality- feeling tired, listless and moody, completely opposite to his energetic self. Soon after he went to the doctors and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. In sudden shock and fear he was told when diagnosed with this disease it requires delicate care- daily insulin injections, careful diet and regular visits to the doctor. He says “it was hard... but it was a learning process”. A great philosophical message came out of his decision to come public with the illness that is to, “deal with the disease and learn to live your life to the fullest!”
